The Israel Builders Association had their annual conference for 2022 in Eilat, and we accompanied them during their registration process and access control at the hotels, concerts, and in the special workshops that were produced especially for the participants.

For this conference, we developed a new and unique feature for the Forms-Wizard system: Electronic Business Cards for all of the conference participants, and now it’s your turn to get to know it!

So what are electronic business cards?

 In the same way printed business cards are exchanged between participants while business networking, electronic business cards contain all of the essential details that allow people to contact each other after meeting face to face. 

You can think of the electronic business card as a digital version of the printed one. 

How does it work during conferences?

First, during the check-in process, we print a QR Code on the participants’ name tags, as you can see in the attached image.

During the conference, the participants meet, talk, and get to know each other. At the end of the gathering, they can scan the other participants’ tags using their smartphone camera (which we’re sure they have, because who comes to a conference without their phone…).

After scanning the name tag, a popup will appear on the phone’s screen with the option to add that participant as a contact with a click of a button, with all their information already there.

When is this feature worthwhile? 

Many times, one of your main conference objectives is granting new business opportunities to your participants that they can leverage after visiting the conference.

The electronic business cards feature allows the networking process to run smoothly without delaying the participants while creating interest and increasing digital exposure.
